Communication slightly disappointing

Staff were very friendly as usual. However, there were some aspects of communication which were a little disappointing.

We found out during our cruise that the disembarkation terminal on 31 July would be changed from Mayflower to QEII. I emailed info@parking4cruises.co.uk on 29 July to check that we'd be able to collect our car from the QEII terminal, but never received a reply. In the meantime I tracked down (via slow ship wifi) a 2018 post on the Facebook page, which gave some assurance that all would be OK.

Our disembarkation time was 08:20. Having received no text by ~ 08:00 I rang the number given and was told that our car was there in the short-stay car park. We duly collected our car. Eventually I received a text at 09:37 to say our car was ready, by which time we were nearly home!

I will also note that the "Write a review" link in the follow-up email redirects to a Google search for "Parking4cruises Ltd" rather than to where you can write a review, which is a little bizarre.

First class service

We took a cruise in July 2022 from the Ocean Terminal on P&O Iona. The ship was full with over 5000 passengers therefore the terminal was busy.
The service from Parking4 Cruises could not have been easier. We dropped our luggage off then drove a short distance to the short stay car park where a representative was waiting.
They took images of the condition on the car then made a note of the mileage.We handed over the keys and walked to the ship.
On our return whilst the ship was docking I received a text telling me that my car was ready and waiting.On disembarkation a representative was again waiting with my cay in the short stay car park. He handed me my car key and gave me directions for the best route out of the city.
I will definitely use this company again in the future and would recommend them.

BRILLIANT

I booked parking for all my family, so 3 cars in total. We received our text message on the Saturday morning, i replied giving them an arrival time and that we had 3 cars. On arrival at Mayflower, we went straight to the short stay car park, rather than dropping off our cases first, we were met by very friendly staff, they had brought some trolleys to the car park, so transfer was easy. They checked our car, explained where we could pick our car up when we returned to QE2 terminal.
Again when we arrived back at QE2, it was so simple, all cars were ready, BRILLIANT SERVICE.

Excellent

We used Parking4Cruises for the first time this year following a recommendation from a family member. The whole experience from booking to collecting the car on our return was seamless. Communication was excellent throughout, with the reassuring text message on arrival back at Southampton that the car was ready for collection.

We were met by a member of the team at the QE11 terminal short term car park after dropping off our luggage, he explained the process clearly to us. It is just a short walk across the road to the terminal building.

On our arrival back at Southampton the text message came through just after the ship docked at the Mayflower Terminal confirming that the car was ready for collection in the Mayflower short term car park. After collecting our luggage it was another very short walk to the car park where the Parking4Cruises representative met us with our keys. After a vehicle check we were on our way within minutes.

Both representatives at drop off and collection were friendly, helpful and good ambassadors for your Company. We would have no hesitation in using Parking4Cruises again or recommending you to others.

Parking Under Pressure

We dropped off our car on a Saturday when the ship we were board, was delayed by some six hours arriving in Southampton. As you may imagine it was pandemonium. Parking4cruises hands were tied as there was no space in the short term parking to receive the drop off cars as the returning passengers were delayed in picking up their cars. Parking4cruises rep on site accommodated as quick as he could and got us booked in with minimum stress considering the situation.(Well done Mark).

Not great this time

We've used Parking4Cruises several times in the past and had no problems, and found them to be really efficient and friendly. However, this time, I arrived home after my cruise to discover I had received a parking charge of £100 from 'ParkingEye' who run the car park. On querying this with ParkingEye they said my only option was to appeal. When I asked Parking4Cruises about this they did apologise and said that the ParkingEye system went down that day. I'm surprised they had not noticed earlier and warned me. Hopefully all will be resolved, but this is just extra hassle I was not expecting after what had been a smooth parking experience.

Great to be Back

Having used this company before, I am really pleased that after the forced pause in cruising the service provided is every bit as good as before. All communications were as promised and the handovers, both on arrival and return were first class. I will certainly be using them again very soon.

Our experience with this company was exactly as it should be.
Dropped off the car without any hassle at the car park opposite the cruise terminal to a very helpful staff member. It was he, rather than the cruise line who informed us that on return to Southampton we would be docking at a different birth and that the vehicle would be waiting for us there.
On return we received the text we'll be before disembarkation to tell us the car was waiting outside in the car park. We collected it in seconds and we were on our way. If we'd not used a meet and greet service our car would have been still parked some distance away.
Completely recommend this company.

We use parking4cruises all the time. Excellent service and very convenient. Their prices are extremely competitive compared to other companies who offer nothing more than a slightly shorter walk to the car.

Very efficient and professional

We were late arriving to the drop off location but received a phone call asking how long we would be (this was just so that they knew - was no pressure on us). On arrival, the team were very professional taking photos of the condition of my car and the mileage/fuel, explaining the reasons for this.
On collection, again, very easy and professional. Would definitely use again.

Efficient Service

On arrival at Southampton we were directed straight to the cruise ship drop off luggage point ahead of all the queues.. We drove to the short stay car park where a friendly member of staff from parking4cruises was waiting for us. After minimal time and completing the paperwork we walked a short distance to the cruise terminal.
On arrival back to the UK we were texted whilst on board ship to say our car was ready. We walked the short distance to the car park, completed the paperwork and we were on our way very quickly. Very slick operation, well done.

Southampton Parking

I had never heard of this company and despite some poor reviews I decided to try them and have to say they were good, and the whole process was painless, the booking was easy except the payment when the website decide to only accept paypal, be aware,,,
On the day they messaged to remind us that today was the day,,,, and told me to respond to that text when we had 30 minutes to go, we got confirmation they were ready and turned up to handover to a lovely lady who put me in mind of Kate humble, in looks and character, , and on return we were advised that our car was waiting, with 5.3 miles on the clock, the same lady handed it back in the same condition I gave it to her, it is very old after all,,,, all in all very professional and friendly with no stress at all, thank you and I look forward to the next time,

Good as ever

Have used Parking4cruises now for at least 15 occasions.

The location and drop off of cases at whatever terminal is excellent and much faster and more convenient than the main car park operator. Similarly on return, drive your car across the road back to the main terminal and load up luggage, no need to push trolleys very far at all.

Service was considerably faster in these post Covid testing arrangements than with main car parking company.

Excellent transfer service when we have had to cancel previous bookings, very obliging and no fees.

Will continue to use.

Excellent yet again

Taking our first cruise since lockdown we wondered if the service we had experienced from Parking4Cruises in the past would still be up to scratch. We need not have worried - excellent friendly and efficient service as usual. Highly recommended.

Southampton cruise parking

Excellent service once again. Second time of using and it's a fabulous service, also booked our friends in with you for the same cruise and they said the same thing, would deffo recommend and use again. Lovely people collecting and delivering car too. Very helpful
