What is your question about?

Most questions that we are asked are about the booking process, our service, or payment. Any other questions are listed at the bottom of this page, under the "Other" section. You can click any of the icons below to jump directly to that section.

Booking

I didn't receive a confirmation email - what do I do?

Confirmation emails are usually instant, but can on occasion take up to 15 minutes to receive your inbox. If you haven't received the email within this time, please check your spam and/or junk folders.

You can also view your booking confirmation by . If you choose not to create an account when you booked, then that's no problem - you can follow the process to set a password and retrieve your booking details.

If you're still having trouble accessing your booking details, please contact us.

I can't print off my parking badge! What shall I do?

No problem at all. The parking badge we provide makes it easier for our Meet & Greet staff to identify cars, but it's not mandatory. We'll still be looking out for your car registration, so don't worry - we'll still allow you to drop off your car with us.

Can I book for multiple cars at once?

Yes. You can add as many cars to a single booking as you wish. You will only receive a single confirmation email, but the details for all vehicles will be shown on your booking details.

On the day of your drop off, we'll be expecting all of the cars that you included in your booking.

How can I change my booking dates?

If you wish to change your drop off or pick up dates, please contact us on 02380 232 582 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday, or email us on info@parking4cruises.co.uk.

If you have selected our Standard or Premium Meet & Greet parking options, there is no fee for amending your booking. If you have selected our Budget Meet & Greet package, there is a £10 administrative fee for amending your booking.

Please note that if the number of nights has increased, you will be required to pay any difference in pricing.

Does it cost anything to change my personal or car details?

There is no fee for changing your personal or vehicle details on all bookings. To make this change, please contact us on 02380 232 582 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday, or email us on info@parking4cruises.co.uk.

How can I cancel my car parking booking?

If you wish to cancel your booking, please contact us on 02380 232 582 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday, or email us on info@parking4cruises.co.uk. If you have selected our Standard or Premium Meet & Greet parking options, there is no fee for cancelling your booking.

If you have selected our Budget Meet & Greet package, there is a £10 administrative fee for processing your cancellation.

Our Service

How does your Meet & Greet service work?

On the day of your cruise, you drive to the cruise terminal short stay car park and drop off your car with one of our Meet & Greet team. You are then free to go ahead and board the cruise ship, while a fully insured Parking4Cruises driver moves your vehicle to our secure compound, less than 3 miles away.

How far away from the terminal is the short stay car park?

The location of the short stay car park varies depending on the cruise terminal. The approximate distances for each terminal are as follows:

  • Queen Elizabeth II: 120 metres.
  • Ocean Terminal: 50 metres.
  • City Cruise Terminal: 310 metres.
  • Mayflower: 100 metres.

Are the drivers fully insured to drive my vehicle?

Yes! All of our drivers are fully insured to drive all of our customer's vehicles through insurers QBE.

Don't you need to know my drop off time?

A lot of cruise parking companies will insist that you specify a drop off time for your car. However, we know in the real world, there are times where plans change or traffic causes you to be delayed.

To make sure your cruise parking is hassle and stress free, we instead send you a text message on the morning of your drop off. All you need to do is make your way to the specified cruise terminal, and let us know when you're about 30 minutes away. This means we can have a member of our Meet & Greet team waiting for you.

Where should I drive to?

You'll need to drop your car off at the cruise terminal that your cruise ship is docked at. 48 hours before your cruise, we'll email you with the most up to date information, including directions to your cruise terminal.

We'll also send you a text message on the morning of your cruise to let you know we're expecting you.

When I arrive at the cruise terminal where do I drop off my car?

Once you have arrived at the cruise terminal you will be directed by the traffic marshals into the baggage drop off lanes to unload your bags. Once you've done this, head over to the short stay car park (around 20 metres way) and keep an eye out for the Parking4Cruises flag.

If the weather's bad, is there a chance your driver will leave muddy footprints in my new car?

Absolutely not. We understand that a lot of people's car is their pride and joy, and we take care to ensure you receive it back from us in great condition. We use disposable paper floor mats in the footwells of all customer vehicles to make sure no mud or dirt is brought into your car.

Payment

Is there an additional charge for paying by credit card?

Parking4Cruises do not charge extra for any payment methods. Payment is available by credit card, debit card and Paypal.

Are my payments secure?

Online payments are secured by Handepay and Paypal.

Parking4Cruises follow best industry practices and do not store full credit card details of our customers. All data, including personal information and payment details, is transmitted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and secured using and latest security technologies.

Can I book and pay over the phone?

While we encourage our customers to book using our secure online service, we can accomodate telephone bookings on 02380 232 582 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.

I'm a previous customer of yours and have a discount code, where do I enter it?

During the booking process, there is an area above the yellow “Pay” button to enter a discount code. If you're having difficulty getting this to work, feel free to get in touch and we can advise.

Can I just turn up and pay in cash on the day?

To ensure we can allocate the correct number of staff to each terminal, we must insist that customers book and pay in advance using our secure online booking service.

Other

How far from the port is the secure car park where my car will be kept?

Our secure parking compound is under 3 miles from all Southampton Cruise terminals, so you won't return to a car with an empty tank of petrol and a significant increase in mileage!

Where will my car be kept while I'm away?

All cars are checked in and parked at our secure compound which is less than 3 miles from all cruise terminals. Our compound has CCTV recording 24/7 and is secured by steel entry barriers, and also features security lighting and perimeter fencing.

We NEVER store vehicles anywhere other than our secure car park, and unlike some competitors, will under no circumstances park your car on a street.

How long have Parking4Cruises been in operation?

Parking4Cruises started as a one man band in 2010, and have since grown into one of Southampton's largest and most popular cruise parking companies. Our commitment to delivering fantastic customer service has means that our growth is driven almost entirely by word of mouth.

I heard that Parking4Cruises have merged with another company or been taken over - is this true?

Parking4Cruises is and has always been owned and managed by Matt Naylor. We have not been taken over or merged with any other organisation. While we do serve customers from some booking agents, we are not affiliated with any other cruise parking company.
